Future Ready City Colleges of Chicago (CCC) is a last-dollar scholarship for students pursuing credit programs. Students apply for financial aid and Future Ready makes up any difference in tuition cost. You must complete your program in 150% time. For example, if you apply to a two-year program, you must complete it within three years. If you go beyond that time period, classes are no longer free through Future Ready. Future Ready only covers required courses that are on your program plan. Talk to an advisor if you are unsure whether a class will count towards Future Ready. Other details:

Fresh Start program is for students who previously attended the CCC’s, but who did not receive a degree. In order to participate, all students have to do is re-enroll with the promise to complete a certification or degree and any previous debt you accrued with the CCC’s will be forgiven! To complete the process, your debt will waived in two phases: Half of your debt will be waived once enrolled, while the remaining half will be waived once you have earned your certificate or degree.
Eligibility:
You are eligible if you were enrolled, or attempted to enroll, at City Colleges with at least $201 of debt before July 1st, 2020, regardless of educational status, GPA, or SAP (Satisfactory Academic Progress) holds on financial aid. To remain eligible you will be required to attend a credit building workshop and a financial coaching session. You must also maintain Satisfactory Academic progress.
