Who is qualified?

To qualify for the program you must meet the following criteria:

  • Currently live in Illinois, and have been a resident of the state for the past 12 months.
  • Have a family income below the allowable limits (use this eligibility calculator to see if you qualify).
  • Currently employed in an FT/PT job; OR, be currently enrolled in an eligible educational institution (college, university, WIOA-based job training program, etc.)
  • Have children younger than 13 who need care while you are working/in school; OR, have children up to 19 years of age with documented special needs requiring care.
