December Deadlines

Science Ambassadors — 

DEADLINE: WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 13

AMOUNT: Full Tuition

ELIGIBILITY

  • High School Senior OR undergraduate student at a 2-year or 4-year accredited institution
  • Plan to enroll full time
  • Pursuing a major in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math)

Open to DREAMers

Golden Apple Scholars Program — 

DEADLINE: FRIDAY, DECEMBER 15

AMOUNT: $23,000

ELIGIBILITY

  • Resident of Illinois
  • High School Senior OR freshman, or sophomore student at a 2-year or 4-year accredited institution
  • Plan to enroll full time
  • Pursuing a major career as a teacher in Illinois (must teach in Illinois for 5years)

Open to DACAmented students

Burger King Scholars Program — 

DEADLINE: FRIDAY, DECEMBER 15

AMOUNT: $1,000 – $5,000

ELIGIBILITY

  • High School Senior
  • At least a 3.3 unweighted GPA
  • ACT composite score of 25 OR SAT combined score of 1220
  • Plan to enroll full time at a 4-year accredited college or university
  • Demonstrate leadership in community through sports, co-curricular activities, or community service
  • Demonstrate Financial Need
  • Citizen of US, or Canada

Equitable Excellence Scholarship Program — 

DEADLINE: MONDAY, DECEMBER 18

AMOUNT: $2,500 – $20,000

ELIGIBILITY

  • High School Senior
  • At least a 2.5 GPA on a 4.0 scale
  • Demonstrate ambition and self-drive to be a force for good in school, community, or work activities
  • Plan to enroll full time at a 4-year accredited college or university in the fall after high school graduation
  • US Citizen or Resident
