If you’re a Georgia resident, you may qualify for financial aid for college through the HOPE Grant or the HOPE Career Grant. These grants are separate from the HOPE Scholarship and provide funding for students pursuing technical certificates or diplomas at eligible Georgia colleges and universities.
This grant helps Georgia residents pay for tuition who’s working toward a certificate or diploma at an eligible college or university in Georgia. Unlike the HOPE Scholarship, it does not require a specific high school GPA.
No high school GPA requirement, but students must maintain a 2.0 college GPA at certain checkpoints to continue receiving funds
This grant is available to students who qualify for the HOPE Grant and enroll in high-demand career programs that align with Georgia’s workforce needs. These industries have been identified as strategically important to the state’s economic growth.
