OneGoal's financial support through our Enrollment Grant and Emergency Funding
OneGoal Enrollment Grant is all about making it easier for Fellows and alumni to overcome financial barriers and completing their journey. The grant is here to support with enrolling and pursuing graduation, whether it’s at a job training program, a 2-year college, or a 4-year university.
Who’s Eligible? Fellows from the Class of 2025 up to Class of 2020 could be eligible for the OneGoal Enrollment Grant.
Fellows may apply for funding to help with financial challenges that threaten their enrollment or persistence, such as overdue balances, housing fees, or lack of supplies. Below is a list of specific expenses that Fellows and alumni can apply the Enrollment Grant towards to support their educational or professional development.
Tuition/School Fees
The Enrollment Grant can support Fellows and alumni tackle tuition and school fees, lessening the burden of financial challenges when enrolling at an institution or continuing the semester or job program. These expenses include:
On and Off-Campus Housing/Transportation
The Enrollment Grant supports on and off-campus housing expenses; however, it is only available for student housing. Eligible housing and dorm expenses include:
School Supplies
Laptops: All eligible Fellows and Alumni will receive a OneGoal laptop. Once all OG laptops are disbursed Fellows and Alumni will receive a standard HP laptop, or a laptop of their choice, provided it does not exceed $400. Fellows and Alumni who opt for reimbursement will be reimbursed up to $400.
Textbooks: Must be required and listed on the course syllabus.
Basic supplies: Must be books or supplies necessary for school.
Childcare
The Enrollment Grant supports childcare expenses for daycare; however, it must be a licensed childcare facility.
